i am eating a dark-chocolate covered pretzel.

i think i am the only poet i have ever known who does not like dark chocolate at all.

in 2 hours i will go to work.

in 18 hours i will go to the clinic.



things are so streamlined for me that it's like being inside a sheet of graphing paper.

except most graphs don't feel pain.

by the way, i'm opting to be fully awake for the entire procedure. it's my way of atoning.

EDIT: hurr, just kidding. apparently if i underwent the surgery today, there would be a high chance of complications/death. this means i have to go to a different clinic, and have a more dangerous procedure wherein i will be put to sleep and perhaps kept in hospital after for observation.

ALSO: ATTENTION PLEASE. IF I HAVE THIS BABY, IT WILL VERY LIKELY KILL ME. LOOK UP "HYPERTHYROIDISM". NOW LOOK UP "THYROID STORM". EVEN IF I WANTED TO HAVE THIS BABY, MY BODY IS PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF BRINGING A HEALTHY INFANT TO TERM. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PASSING JUDGMENT BEFORE YOU HAVE HEARD THE ENTIRE STORY.

BOTTOM LINE: THE TERMINATION OF THIS PREGNANCY IS MEDICALLY NECESSARY.
